Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GuideStream TV mobile application and related services (the “Service”), provided by GuideStream TV (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

GuideStream TV is a discovery and tracking tool for streaming content. We help you find shows and movies, track them across the services you subscribe to, receive new-episode alerts, and open titles in the appropriate streaming apps. GuideStream TV does not host, stream, or provide the underlying video content. Access to any streaming service requires your own account and subscription with that provider.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you create an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for activity that occurs under your account.

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties, including content providers, authentication providers, advertising and affiliate partners, and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. GuideStream TV is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Prime Video, or any other streaming provider, and all third-party names and logos are the property of their respective owners.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to interfere with its operation, reverse-engineer it, access it through unauthorized means, or use it in violation of any applicable law or the terms of any third-party service it integrates with.

User Content and Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content

GuideStream TV lets you post comments on titles. You are solely responsible for anything you post. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on the Service. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or violent, that infringes anyone else’s rights, or that impersonates another person, and not to use the Service to abuse, stalk, or harass other users.

Comments are automatically screened for objectionable language when posted. Every comment can be reported, and every user can be blocked, from the menu on that comment; blocking a user immediately hides their content from you. We review reported content and, where it violates these Terms, will remove it and suspend or terminate the responsible account within 24 hours of the report. We may remove content or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

Fees and Premium Features

The core features of the Service are currently free to use. We may offer optional premium features in the future. If we introduce paid features, the applicable pricing and terms will be presented to you before you are charged.

Affiliate Disclosure

The Service may contain affiliate links. If you sign up for a streaming service through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Intellectual Property

The GuideStream TV name, logo, and the original design and software of the Service are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission. Content and metadata about shows and movies belong to their respective rights holders.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that content availability, deep links, schedules, or notifications will always be accurate, timely, or uninterrupted, as these depend on third-party data and services outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuideStream TV will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
