Prehistoric Planet
Updated November 2, 2026
The epic series returns with a new era.
Prehistoric Planet streams in the US on one subscription service — AppleTV+ — and nowhere else right now: no free stream, and no rent-or-buy option. Here is what that means for watching it.
Travel back 66 million years to explore a prehistoric world where dinosaurs and other extraordinary creatures lived across land, sea, and sky. Presented like a nature documentary, the series follows their daily lives, habitats, survival challenges, courtship, feeding, and care of young.
